Members Lounge

The Members Lounge requires a minimum of one post for a member to post on it, which effectively locks out all new members. While I understand this measure has been taken to prevent spam, surely spammers determined to get their junk out to the forum will simply post it in another forum, and deleting spam is equally easy for a mod on all forums. So I'm wondering if this new rule surrounding the Members Lounge is the best idea.

Suggestion for forum game

I would like to run a suggestion by the members: We have already had design games, but I thought it'd be interesting to have a strategic war game too.

What I was thinking, is to have a game master and two groups of members. These two groups of members will then play two high commands (SHEAF, OKH, Stavka, etc.), who will be presented with a scenario. Each group will have a map and a given set of units, and will then be given a situation.

The groups can then do what they consider best....

Vista and logging in?

I had to log in twice almost every time since my return, except for today, and thought the forum had a bug or something. But today everything works fine, after I returned to my old machine running Windows XP as OS. I suspect the bug was Windows Vista.

Has anyone else experienced similar problems with Windows Vista?

Here i go again (for those with a good memomry, i have asked this one before but nobody answered back then)

The thing i find the worst about our home page http://www.military.cz/panzer/index_en.htm is that it has bearly any info about the tanks. I mean, it's nice to have the main tanks sorted by every country, then give some info and mayby a pic but it's the info part that's just too little.
I mean, what info do we give visitors? Just the size of the gun, speed, demension and...

Just a thought from something mentioned in another thread.

Whilst I appreciate that our forum rules don't need to be exactly legally watertight since interventions and disciplinary actions such as suspensions or bannings are largely at the discretion of the admin, there appears to be a slight loophole available.

Whilst it is against the rules to create more than one account, it doesn't appear to be against the rules to allowed other members (Including banned ones) to post using an...

Font Settings
You can use bold, italic and underlined text to add emphasis in your posts. Doing this is really easy. To make bold text use the B tag, to make italic text use the I tag and to make underlined text use the U tag.
