      <content:encoded><![CDATA[The largest annual event for ex-military vehicles in the western U.S. returns to Plymouth, California this April at the 49er Village RV Resort and adjacent Amador County Fairgrounds. RV camping and rental cabins at the 49er - no tent camping there, and tent/truck camping at the fairgrounds which is also where the visitor parking lot is. We have a group discount on sites at the 49er. Hotels and restaurants are nearby. <br />
<br />
No admission or parking fee. No MV registration or fee. No vendor fee but...<br />

These vehicles were made by the Pressed Steel Car Company, PA, USA for part of the US WW2 effort. I hope I am not being forward, we are giving a brief next week, on 13th, to a small group of people and was hoping for confirmation of manufacture paperwork and any further existing information on this hulk.<br />

Group of tank enthusiasts took the mission to restore the M18 Hellcat Tank to be presented it in VE-DAY celebrations specially to surprise a WW II tank commander who fought from Normandy landing to Germany and in between the Battle of the Bulge in the same tank and liberated Buchenwald concentration camp he also received Bronze and Silver Star, and a Purple Heart<br />

Javelina roaming around at night.  Occasional Bobcat and &quot;Other&quot; critters to lurking around (all 4 legged).  All that in the last too weeks.  Beautiful area.  But last night saw me up several times.  Still getting use to the sounds of the house I guess.  Sometime after 4am another barrage of thunder and lightening bombarded the house...<br />
