    Ike,

    Just bear in mind that painting figures is a whole different ball game than painting vehicles in a diorama.

    Althought some techniques apply to both vehicles and figures, it takes a special talent to make your figures presentable.

    I cringe when I see a fantastic diorama with great tanks, buildings, etc. and the figures have one flesh tone, no shadows, and it detracts from all the great work in the vehicles.

    The right-most figure is from the Tamiya Brummbär kit slightly modified. The officer in overcoat figure is from the 4 piece Tamiya German Officer kit and appears to be built straight from the box. The other two I can't identify as I cannot see them clearly enough. Interesting to note that the one with the shell on his shoulder has about 80% of the weight at the end furthest from his shoulder making it a very awkward load (ie, he would be very unlikely to be holding a shell that way)......
