I just finished working on a 1/48 scale B-17 Flying Fortrss. I am getting ready to start a 1/48 He-111. After that I'll have to see what I get for Christmas.

What size aircraft hangar do you own, Timothy ? ;)

That 1/48 B-17 sounds good - I keep opening the box of my Tamiya 1/48 'Dambuster', wondering where I'd display the made up kit, and then closing it again.... :(

I had that same problem. I began making so many models that I had no where to display them. So I started hanging them from the ceiling. I drill a hook into the ceiling then attach the model using fishing string. It works really good. Plus it looks really nice because they are all in dogfights and other scenes.

Martin, The other solution is to get some glass cabinets. Ikea do some nice ones. Then they look nice and don't clutter up the place.

Martin I am almost surprised you haven't built that big model so you cand display your other Dambusters items around it. Would make a wonderful display eh ?

I still keep itching to find a Dragon 1/48th Ju 88G-6 but not sure now what I would pay for one if I could find one ?........ 75.00 US

    Mmmm - I know, I know... [IMG]

The 'Lanc' is just so huge - it'd need a massive glass cabinet, & then there's no space for a cabinet anyway ! :(

Timothy, the detail on the Dragon kit is top notch superb ! I hear it is the finest kit available, if you can find one. Kinda like trying to find a 1/48th Tri-master Fw 190A-8/R-8. almost impossible and you will pay big bucks for one

i'm working on a Panther Ausf A, and a Stuart light tank (more like cardboard box with tinfoil, and a .22) ;) i'm just waiting for christmas b/c they're finished except i'm getting a modellers aircompressor for christmas so they're not painted! i'm also going to be soon working on a king tiger, Pershing, and hopfully a stug [IMG] also anyone know where i can get a sherman conversion kit to put a hedgroves cutter on it? (i know i cant spell [IMG] the thing that goes on the front of the tank looks like big teeth, they were devloped using the hedghogs off of the beaches at normandy), i was thinking of making a diorama of a sherman coming through the bushes and a stug hiding in some other bushes waiting for the sherman to come into complete view [IMG] also, storage problems come with armor 2... you cant hang a tank from the celing! lol!

Just builiding my German trench system, the Gottlieb Line... nearly finished painting my German infantry Division in 20mm. Thats about 250 figures in the scale I use, one man = ten in real life... But now back to making the rest of my industrial complex for 1944 France and some gardens for the house in the residential area of the townscape.

    Oh and a gloster meteor!!!

More stuff for 1/35th tactical wargames. Doing another company of Russians (those little 50mm mortars are a pain having to scratch build every one), along with an assortment of German (a RadSchlepperOst..a truck with large solid steel wheels) and Russian armor (including 6 scratch built STZ 5ch tractors for my 76.2mm light artillery / anti-tank battery)among other things. I really need to find a way to put some photos on here.....
