Yesturday I started a 1/48 Me-163. It is a Revell and is supposed to be really challenging. Lots of small parts. I'll have to see though.

Current project - Check out my post on my 1:24 Mustang! Currently on hold due to lack of space to set up on though. It will be updated!

Actually, I'm about to paint the pilot and the cockpit detail. Should I use acrylics for this or enamels?

I might go with acrylics just so I can switch between paints much quicker and they take no time to dry. Because of the detail involved this might be a good plan. But I don't want this section to look different from the rest of the enamel painted plane...

    Any tips?

SignalCorp - The easy answer is use what ever you are comfortable. Persoanlly i use artists oils but all paints have there advantages and disadvantages. It is all about how you use them. That is the best advice i can give.

I finally finnished the 1/48 Komet. Some of the small parts didn't fit properly so I had to improvise. It turned out well.

I have two new projects. One is for me and one is for a local museum. The one for me is a 1/48 Avenger. The one for the museum is a 1/32 Wildcat. It was donated and was not fit for display. So I brought it home and am airbrushing it and doing lots of detailing.

The museum is MAPS (Military Avaition Preservation Society).

The Mossie at Wright-Patterson is B.Mk35 no. RS709 which flew in both the '633 Squadron' and 'Mosquito Squadron' movies. It's now finished in USAAF PR MkXVI colours.

I haven't gotten on lately but I finnished my P-38. My teacher loved it of course and wanted to keep both teh P-38 and the Me-163.

I have not had much time to do other models lately but I am woking on a 1/35 halftrack. Hopefully with school comming to a close, I can get back in to the swing of things.
