I added some nice things to my collection the last weeks.
    1. Demjansk shield
    2. Infantery badge in silver (Shuco)
    3. Occupation medal 1 march 1938
    4. Pin for Jeugdstorm (dutch national socialist youth movement).
    5. NSB 5 years loyalty pin. (NSB is the dutch national socialist party).

From the last two items I cannot make clear pictures. Besides I am beginning to think the NSB pin is a fake. I didn't know these items were also faked but I see much differences with others in a book that I currently bought.

Great Stuff Volkbert! ;) I especially like your Demjansk Shield--I dont have one of those yet.
For that matter--I dont have a cased Occupation medel either---yet :D

Your Shuco IAB is nice--. I dont think any of my IABs are maker marked. Ill check and see in a few weeks and let ya know.

I have a mint Bronze IAB and a mint-near-mint Silver hollowback IAB--not the one I wanted to get at this last show as it was stolen from the dealer a week earlier. :( :( :( Luckily I had managed to get this one from the same dealer several months ago and it is almost as nice as the stolen Silver IAB.

I cant wait to have my KM stuff posted here [IMG] any volunteers for the posting job? :D

Hey David--post a pic please :D What did you get? an imperial German medal bar or a ww2 medal bar? Inquiring minds want to know :D

Also--did I tell you guys that I might have a chance to buy RKT Pasternacks Spanish war Black Wound Badge and his ww2 Silver Wound Badge? Im going to try getting them in February if they arent sold. These originally came from Detlev Niemann.

    Hi Carl,

Its a nice (and cheap!) little Imperial one.
Also got a DRL Sports badge in Bronze with it to make the postage more economical.

(Hope Detlev doesn't mind me using his picture.)

That's a nice bar David. What it is the medal on the right? I am not familiair with imperial stuff. Smart to buy more pieces in one time. Up till now I always ordered one piece at a time from Detlev. No matter what ordered the postage was always €10. I thought that sending a photo album was more expensive that a Krim Shield.

Carl-- I can post some pictures for you. I have some space left with my internet provider.

    Hi Volkbert,

I gotta pay 10 euro postage too, which is a third of the cost of the item!

The medal on the right is the Prussian Red Crosss Decoration 3rd Class

Volkbert--OK I can use your help on posting pics. After I relocate next month--ill make some scans of some stuff and will get in touch to send it to you. These scans I will do on a color copier as it is cheaper adn much faster for me to fo so.

OK Carl I wait for your message!

David- Strange that Detlev charges us for the same amount. Netherlands is much closer to Germany than New Zealand. Maybe he wants to charge everyone the same. A socialist thought. ;)

Your right Volkbert, its very strange. Even stanger is that it takes less time for the package to get to NZ than it does to the USA!

How long does a parcel take to reach you David? When I order on Friday I receive it mostly the next tuesday. Detlev is the fastest dealer I know.

Hi Volkbert--when ive ordered from Detlev--I got the vast majority of my packages in less than a week--with only once taking more than that. Detlev is the tops in the business.

Its about a week for me too, but I've heard stories of things taking weeks to months to get to the states.

Oh and back to newest purchases.

Im getting a 4 place ww1 ribbon bar with two higher orders on it. Or it has one high order and the other place is the German Red Cross--not sure--ill have to check with Rick.L on it if and when I finally do get them in.

Also comes with the matching 4-place ribbon bow.
