I can understand that you don't like my point of view: fine they are not usually "normal". I believe the US government sold out the American people a long time ago, and the fact that honest, impressionable young children are deceived into giving their lives to make a few other men rich is absolutely disgusting.
That's my wild and crazy view of American military history and it doesn't jibe with any credible sources.

I believe you can join the reserves at 16, regular forces at 18, 17 year olds would have to be Reserves called up.

I heard from CNN's embedded reporter with the Marines who provided security for the rescue mission tonight that they found about 11 American bodies. So some of those missing from the 507th may come up as KIA.

Probably Charlie, they don't have that much veteran soldiers - who had a very long period of traineeship.
