My son is born

    Hello everyone,

    Wednesday morning my son is born! Mother and child do well and are at home now. We are very happy. His name is Folkert. Everyone who wants to see more pictures can take a look at: www.babyvantol.nl.

    Cute kid, glad to hear both are fine and keep us posted. Oh, and also, VERY cool name, Folkert, I like that.

    Thank you all for the kind replies!!! I will print them all so that my son can read it when he is old enough to do so.

    I thought the name means: leader of the folk. I have a book with german names but can't find it right now. I am glad you like the name too. It's hardly used in the Netherlands. We wanted this name long ago.

    I will do everything to make him interested in WWII. Today I showed him my new militaria room and his touched my waffenrock :D

    Volkbert--don't forget what I told you to do when the baby starts teething.

    Have a bottle of W-H-I-S-K-E-Y handy so you can dip his teether in it and give the teether to him and the whiskey will do no harm to him and will not only make the pain go away but, also make him quit crying and go to sleep. [​IMG]

    Believe me--it works--my father use it on all my Brothers and my Sister and myself. [​IMG]
