I think a friend of mine already posted this earlier, but just incase he did'nt I shall post it once more. I am looking for a painting. A specific painting, it was drawn for Curtis Lemay during WW2. He asked this artist to paint him the last thing a Japanese person would see before he or she died. The painting showed a series B-52 Superfortress flying overhead in the clouds, and really up close it shows a Bomb. So the last thing a Jap would see was a Bomb hitting him. Anyways, has anyone ever heard of this painting? And if you have would you manage to know its name and the name of the artist? I beg for your assistance people I have been trying so hard to find this paintings name and artist. Thx you so much for your help.

Sorry, Optimus...I racked my brain & searched all over the web when this first came up :( . Like Erwin, I've never heard of it & would indeed be interested to know more about it myself....

    ( BTW, think you mean B-29, not 52 ;) )

Welcome aboard the forums, Enigma and many thanks for a link I hadn't seen before !

This is useful stuff because we're all a little 'dim' about the Pacific Theatre around these parts....
