    Hi Matey

I think we stand as good a chance in the prem as we have in a number of years this time round Rafa just needs to settle things down with Alonso and stop making team changes when there is no need.As for Europe we seem to excell without really trying in the last few years. What do you reckon on Robbie Keane?

Hey Big Wing good to find a fellow red on the forum i rate Alonso he has great vison on the pitch god knows why Rafa was going to sell him. As for Keane he knows where the goal is but time will tell can he gel with Torres plus how will he perform if Torres is injured and the strike role is mainly on him other than Stevie G or Kuyt scoring, as for europe having as you say 2 ECL finals in 3 years and looking really good in the process then MAYBE ISTANBUL CAN HAPPEN AGAIN:D

Going to the Bayern home game today! Hope it's a good game as we bought the tickets from the net, otherwise could not get any. The seller wanted 3x the normal price....

Great game! 69,000 watching. After the first goal things got pretty slow, but during second half Bayern show started and it was suddenly 3-0, and then another penalty and 4-0. The crowd went nuts and must say enjoyed every minute of it. In Finland we have some 1,500 people watching the games so pretty "lonely" there....

ManU and ManCity just splashed some cash. Manu bought Berbatov for 30 million and City bought Robinho (?) from Real for the almost same sum. Man that's alot of money...

That takes out all the fun of managing finances. Apparently they will offer Ronaldo 200Million Pounds or something to go to Manchester City! (or at least, saying that they will). Personally, i would LOVE for that to happen. One less threat on Man Utd!

New City owner Dr Sulaiman Al-Fahim reportedly has a wealth touching on a mind-boggling £500billion, totally eclipsing Roman's roubles, and has already talked of bidding £135m for Cristiano Ronaldo and trying to sign Fernando Torres and Cesc Fabregas.

    Ooopppssss!!

Curbs and now King Kev. When a manager stops beeing the Boss it is time for the amateur owners to pack their bags. I wonder how Fergie would react if he had players thrust upon him. Well off tae bed and cry for a while at Ashleys latest stunt in making the Toon the laugh of the footie world.

Sad to hear Kevin left. I can understand his reasons, really. Now who dares to take his position?

Why bother to install a manager when he isn't the boss?

Wise came to Newcastle ten days into King Kevs tenure. I don't think all the gold in the bank of England cold persuade Wise to go into St. James Park. The Toon Army would have ripped him to shreds.

I am lead to beleive that the matchday handling (at the Hull game) will be done by one of the assistants.

As for future managers the fans don't give a toss. KK was mr.Newcastle, more popular than Shearer. And Shearer will not work for the currrent regime. (interview with the Chronicle)

The 'modern' continental setup exclude all old school managers and even with men such as Zico, Houllier, Deschamps etc. on the shortlist, the mood at Tynside is foul. To the Magpies the current regime have stabbed King Kev in the back, and there is no olive branch to hand out to them.

Amongst the supporters there is a tiny chance of waking from this nightmare. An Indian investorgroup have shown interest, and if Mike Ashley was to sell that could be the 'get out of jail card for free'. The hopefuls are naturally praying for this option and the reinstallment of Keegan as the boss, or Shearer.

I don't beleive that Ashley has fully realised what the Geordie nation means. Even the Newcastle city council wrote a statement during the talks, where they expressed the importance of KK for the Club, the City and the nearby region. His next steps will be highly important. I don't see how he can get away from this. Sooner or later he will have to accept that bringing in Wise and Co, and choosing Wise over KK during these talks was the biggest own goal in football history. He has alienated hiself from the fans, and no matter who he install as manager will not mend the damage done.

In short I don't see how Ashley can be the owner of the club in the future. One thing is certain. The Magpies will never forget nor forgive what happened this week. (I should know, I'm one of them)

And just when you thought that the Toon could not top the madness:
    Enter Anil Ambani.

    Who
6th richest in the world £21 billions.

    What
Wants to buy Newcastle for £260 mill+
    AND
    Make Kevin Keegan manager.

If anyone had suggested this earlier I'd give it the same odds that an UFO landing on the head of the Loch Ness monster and out jumps Elvis singing Love me tender.
