Yes, the Anthology allows you to play HOI, HOI2, Doomsday and armageddon. And a special paradox medal too.

 

Sounds good but will I be able to play my brother over the internet if we both purchase and install the game? And what is HO1, HO12? Sorry for my wealth of ignorance--i know you all have been playing for a while. This game interested me because it seems to be exactly what I have been looking for: as authentic an experience as possible in which players have the ability to manage all aspects of making war and global scale combat. Tho born 10 years after its close i am somewhat a student of WWII. I have told my brother of this forum and am hoping you veterans of H of I would be an occasional rescource for us. Many thanks. Yes, as long as you have the same version...when you open the game it tells you in top right corner. If you both buy the anthology and install the same patches in correct order, it will be fine.

HOI1 and HOI2 are the two Hearts of Iron Games, the 2nd one improving on the first one(and the addons improving and extending the 2nd one). Googling Hearts of Iron should bring you to the game website and forum associated it with it.

 

Oh and I advise downloading the total realism project (more almost total realism but nothing is perfect...). It makes the game much more enjoiable

I have purchased the anthology disc so when it arrives Im expecting it will include HoI1, HoI2, and armageddon as advertised. So what is the order of patches and the procedure for adding them all to my game. Again, sorry for the ignorance. Am I right in thinking that I need to add The Total Realism Project AFTER the patches? ikeeptime

 

Yes the TRP is after the patches you go to the main site of paradox and it's all there. You just need to add the latest patch for Armagedon iirc...

No but you only need to instal the armagedon version of the game so you only need those patches.

i just wanna ask is there a trick how to stop in the Armagedon scenario the aliance to start war immideatily its just stupid i play with russian empire and persia declares war on me the cossacsk 2 and roma 2 so its just silly is ther trick to stop that and play some time to strenht your army and then make the war

 

Put the computer as "Weakling". On Armageddon they seem to love war.

 

Yeah, in Armageddon they LOVE to go to war. Happens pretty much right off the bat, so to speak.

 

I suppose you could conquer everyone and make the all your puppets...then they wouldn't go to war.

 

but is silly :S they start war after 7 days and persia attacks me cossacks 2 and my troops are in moscow :S until they reach the borders they will beaccros half of russia

Anyone up for a game of this today? I was idiot and rebought it (only $5) since i only have Doomsday on a CD. I could probably have just downloaded AA again. Will patch (1.2 All Inclusive Patch) and then I should be ready.

If so, i highly suggest downloading Hamachi (google it) as it will solve numerous connection issues.

coward -for AI and its stil crazu cmon on normal normal on other scenarios arent that kind of thins maybe only on furious and here on coward they just start war:S

is taht cauz all nations have belligerence 50 ?
