here's a 1/72 scale from Italeri (looks to be 'Out of Stock' for the time being)

or a 1/144 scale from Minicraft (thats getting pretty tiny , for my taste!)

I've been looking for a 1/48 scale (which is my preferred scale) C-47

I've also checked on a DC-3 - no joy there, either.

You might check eBay - Monogram used to make a -48 scale C-47 with a stick of Paratroopers - I used to see them occasionally, but they usually went pretty dear.

(...'buncha damn idiots on eBay, anyway ... I avoid that place like the plague anymore.)

Good luck with your hunt ... let me know if you find anything.

    -whatever

These are just kits I looked around for a bit:

(bedroom closet): 1/72 Supermodel Cant Z1007 Alcione, 1/32nd Hasegawa Me 163B Komet, 1/35th Tamiya Churchill Crocodile, 1/35th ESCI MBT T74, 1/32nd Revell FW 190D

    (office): (all 1/35th)
Italeri: 2 Opel Blitz truck kits, 1 Elefant, 1 Marder III
    DML: Is IIm, IS 152
    Airmodel: T60A
AER: T-20 Komsomolets tractors, 4 BA 60 armored cars
Tamiya: Saladin armored car, Jadgpanther, Su 85, M13/40, 2 6pdr AT guns w/ crew

A Superior Models lead figure kit #196 (15mm)

    Encore models 1/72nd Yak 9

Probably 20 or 30 various 1/72nd airplane kits half done...most from small run / rare companies. For example I found a Myrsky II Finnish fighter in a drawer along with a P-43A, a McDonnell FD-1, a Spitfire XIX, FM 2, La 5, Yak 9, Spitfire XIV LF, P 36A, Defiant, a Mosquito buried under other stuff, a Fw 187 vacuform kit, an MB 5, I16, a CR 32, well anyway a bunch of stuff.... I have a number of those old Revell 1/32nd airplanes somewhere....remember seeing a Typhoon kit recently.....the garage? Maybe one of the crates?

yea, probably should put some pictures up.

At those sizes you are probably better going for a kit intended for remote control flying rather than trying to find anything intended specifically for static display.

NB I know It is a Civilian DC-3, it is just to show the sort of stuff available in RC
