Those members who saw the link about Scotland's de-Nazification centre might be interested to know that a new book has been published about it.

Camp 165 Watten attempts to fill the gaps left in a previous work on the de-Nazification programme published in 1979. There are interviews with former prisoners, guards and locals in what promises to be a good book.

Wasn't there also a Welsh de-Nazification centre near Swansea where they escaped ?

Are you thinking of Island Farm Camp in Glamorgan? A lot of high-ranking Nazis were held there postwar. Can't remember if it was a de-Nazification centre though.
