New book titled Dresden. Yes I know it's been chatted to death. It is written by Frederick Taylor. It postulates that Dresden was in fact a large military production city. He provides evidence to support this view, includings photos of radar components being made etc.

I am not taking sides, I only mention the book to those interested in the subject.

Yea, I have this one on order, should show up any day now I hope. Would be interested to hear some comments on it.

The more detailed study on the importance of the manufacturing sites at Dresden would nice, if that is included, apart from the larger sites like Zeiss-Ikon, Siemens and Lehman.

I have a copy of this book, but have to confess I haven't got round to reading it yet.
