George Brush wished the Allies bombed the camps. ;)

I'm just wondering why GB had not said it before?

Yes I remember having debated this issue with some of you before. It was decided that bombing the place would have killed many innocents and stopped the infernal machine for a few days only. Some Holocaust survivors have stated that this precisely would have saved dozens and that it was worth being killed while the allies were trying to destroy the camp. It's a difficult issue and it's difficult to answer the question.

The Allies had to focus on German war material and oil prodution first which was correct in shortening the war. As for GB I feel there something about that remark probably on the grounds of politics.

What about jumping down from the fence two years earlier? That would have saved a hell of a lot of people.

Yes the issue has already been discussed here.... i remember that very well since i was the only one supporting the bombing and i fully explained why

but that's not the point here.... i'm posting here for another reason:

IF MR.W SAYS AUSCHWITZ HAD TO BE BOMBED THEN I WANT TO CHANGE MY POSITION: NOW I DON'T SUPPORT THE BOMBING ANY MORE.

i will never share mr.W ideas...but i woudn't mind sharing his secretary of state, possibly dressed to kill in black leather... :D

That is not the best of reasons I could think of to influence one's position. Even I can find common ground with Bill Clinton, LBJ or FDR on many things and I have very little use for any one of them.

When did he want to bomb it? Before the P.O.Ws came? During (let's hope not)? After? Taking things out of context is such a funny business.

Why is this garbage thread still open? It is beneath the dignity and intelligence of most ( apparently not all ) of the people here.

Please forgive me for misusing the forum - I'm something of a tyro around here. But then, obviously I have no dignity or intelligence.

Bullcrap......You are one of (if not) the most dignified and intelligent individuals amongst these rogues here. Keep on posting your thoughts. I have spoken, now let it be done.
