I would like to meet Hans Von Luck Edwin Campion Vaughan F.F.E. Yeo-Thomas Red Cloud MIchael Donnelly Frank Foley Otto Carius
haha good one red baron and I would agree with you on hitler and not only to kick him in the balls but also to just talk him and find out and try and understand wwhat screwed that poor soul up, and what turned him into the fasicts that he was. Because I have to admit although I disagree with everthing he did, it was impressive what he did for germany and how he did it, and then when I have me answers then I will kick him in the balls
For World War II, I'd savor the chance to talk to Adolf Hitler. I may not like what he did but he still is an intriguing historical figure. Next would be Rommel. I'd ask him if he really was involved in the attempt against Hitler. The historical record, from what I've read, is still too murky. Another one would be Yamashita on the off chance that he'd reveal if his famed treasure really exists or not. Of course, Douglas Macarthur. As a Filipino, I would personally ask him why he let his command be attacked in 1941 despite several hours warning after Pearl Harbor.
Rommel, von Manteuffel, Manstein, Monty, Guderian, Wittmann, Barkmann, Churchill, Stalin, Hitler, and Peiper to name a few .
Fortunately I have met and interviewed a few hundreds aces over the years from all countries but I'd sure like to be able to talk to my favs- Don Gentile and John Godfrey.
leonidas now what a story he could tell.also paddy mayne wonder what sort of man he really was and how he did the things he did and did he wonder why he never got that vc
Patton, Ike, Lee, Nelson, Napoleon, Maurice de Saxe, Saloah-din an-nasir ayyud, Cyrus the great, alexander, Ceasar... But i'll also add Adolphe Juin (for the tremendous mountain assault in Italy) Von lettow-Vorbeck (fascinating soldier), de Lattre de tassigny (one of those who did well in 1940, and he made great campaigns in France, Germany and Indochiné while the situation was desperate) and Audie Murphy.
