Welcome Shockwave, good to have you here. You asked about rules. http://www.ww2f.com/wwii-forums-news/18540-wwii-forums-user-guide-version-1-1-a.html The main things are to use common sense and to be courteous. Those two factors are very important, even when there is disagreement. Post away and have fun.
Hi SwS, welcome aboard the Otto S. Bismarck/Torrerio cruise ship line. As to your question, yes I agree with you on how Stalingrad had partly influenced the outcome of the war. A few of the reasons are: That the Germans were stopped cold (pardon the pun) from their attempted advances across the Volga. In Army Group South and as part of Guderians forces, the farthest Eastward that any unit of the Army made, was to within about 20 miles from the town of Astrakahn. Also, it proved to be a huge propaganda victory as well as a military victory, for ol Uncle Joe.
Hello Shockwavesoldier! :S! There is a LOT of information on Stalingrad here, Russia at War would be the best place to look for this, dive in my friend!
