    hello everyone I am new, hints this post is in New Member Forums. But anyway if there are any special rules i need to know please share, I discovered this sight while doing research for a project on why Stalingrad influenced the final outcome of the war more so If you agree or disagree please state your opinion :)

    Welcome! I think you will find some great info and educated opinins here on your quest for answers. I do agree Stalingrad had a profound influence on the outcome of the war. I'll get into more detail later in the correct thread... see you there!

    Hi SwS, welcome aboard the Otto S. Bismarck/Torrerio cruise ship line. As to your question, yes I agree with you on how Stalingrad had partly influenced the outcome of the war. A few of the reasons are: That the Germans were stopped cold (pardon the pun) from their attempted advances across the Volga. In Army Group South and as part of Guderians forces, the farthest Eastward that any unit of the Army made, was to within about 20 miles from the town of Astrakahn.

    Also, it proved to be a huge propaganda victory as well as a military victory, for ol Uncle Joe.

    better late than better, and yes I have been busy I go on all the time before school during lunch and after school. lol
