Heh heh  I thought that Europeans had better memory power than Americans! boy how that balloon has bust!"

Just kidding, I honestly can't remember how I stumbled onto this place. All I remember that MIGHT have happened was, that a few weeks after I got back from my 1 month trip to Germany, I was bored at home and came to the library-same one im posting from now ;-))

Anyway, I was busy looking up things on German sites trying to relive my vacation there and, some possibilities on how I found this place are:

    1) I might have seen this mentioned on the old Twelve O'Clock High forums.
    2) I may have seen it mentioned on the Feldgrau forums.
    3) I may have seen this site mentioned on Gummis Uboat site.
    4) I might have Googled-no, at that time I strictly used Alta Vista, and might have found this site through them.

    Thanks Jan, Erich.

Jan, funny you should mention that topic I posted, because I have been told that by a few others who found this site thanks to that very topic. ;-D

Erich, yup, I seem to remember telling you about this place and I think it was when we were on the Twelve O'Clock High site. ;-))

Hi E, thankx 4 the reminder. That also might have been where I met Paul as well. ;-)) That site does sound plausable since at that time, my mind and attention were mainly on KM stuff.

Someone at GCHQ said they had been asked to view it. I believe they thought it might have links to Nazi groups. Frankly, I find the idea absurb !

I followed a white rabbit with a watch and chain down a rabbit hole at the bottom of the garden.

I did a Google search of Canadian Artillery in WWII and had JTF-2's query regarding the 7th Medium Artillery Regiment in Information Requests come up, and I've been hooked ever since:D When my family is

Ironically, it's also lead to conversations with other people I've known - in some cases for years and whom I shall have to refer - who I never knew were also interested in WWII and WWI! It never came up....

Looking for information on tanks. You probably don't realize just how many people don't know there was more than a couple a dozen throughout history (including the one in Tianimen Square).

I'm nopt familiar with that acronym, is this the GCHQ you are referring to SS-Hauptsturmfuhrer?
