The Germans loved the ppsh41 and sent a large number back to Germany . They were reworked and rebarreled to 9MM luger.
Then they went back to the Eastern Front.

The Germans loved anything for close quarters they could get their hands on. That also increased the Germans logistical problems like hell. Especially when it came to more complex weapons like the Czech ZK383 or the Italian beretas.
And making a gun that lasts 10 years is truly the Germa way. Troughout the war, they never seem to let go the quality standards (when the Russians saw the Mark III and IV were awed by the cushioned seats and high end finish the tanks got. They thought it was a waste of time.).

    Cheers...

German scopes on there snipers needed to be taken care of a lot more then the Russian and the Russian snipers were easier to use. But another factor is weather. THe Russians knew how the winters were. THere had much better clothing and Supplies and a better feel as to what it was going to be like where the Germans didnt. Then German supplies ran dry and they couldnt get enough planes into the area of there troops. There food was cut down to 1 piece of bread a day. Many starved or froze. Also, Russians used there surroundings better then the Germans. THey would crawl through the pipes and suprise Germans and use rubble as a hiding area for sniper. Hitler invaded Russia for two reasons he needed material to keep the German war machine going and He saw in the "phoney war" with finland the russians didnt have great tactics and the russians lost 125,000 men where as the Fins lost 25,000 and this showed Hitler they had a great weakness. He also didnt expect the T-34 to be superior then there own tanks and a whole army of his was captured and of the 250,000 or so troops only 5,000 made it home at the end of the war

Russian gear isnt as engineered well But it sure never jams and is VERY GI proof... Simple unaccurate.. but lethal at close range Kinda like the Ak series....

How about backing that up with the technical information that proves it isn't true?

Yeah I do LOL. I haven't seen him lately. And I don't mean to offend but if you are going to come into a thread and state that some things are "Wrong"," Not True","Propaganda",Ect. The poster could at least post some facts or information as to why they think so.

Also well said: "The Germans displayed that particular brand of arrant stupidity in declaring war to two great powers at the same time."

And so it goes, ever and ever, round and round, till all juvenile egos are massaged enough.

I would agree that German weapons were surperior but some weapons from Russia like the PPSH were better then other Sub-Machine Guns from the German army like the MP-40

    Someone shoot me...

Its funny... British troops loved the MP40. Loads robbed them and used them. The Germans loved the sten as you could fire it prone and used them whenever they could.

I guess the grass is always greener...

Personally I wasnt in WW2 using them so I wouldnt know. But I know they are all much of a muchness...

I think some people play too much Call of Duty.
