There are a couple of genuine Russians on board, plus at least one fake, so do feel welcome What kind of roots are you talking about?
G'day mate and welcome. Especially as a Veteran of any military conflict whether it is considered right or wrong, and even if you are foreign to me.
The relative was born in Russia in 1822. I don't have the year he left. His last name was Brunett. What I am trying to find out is if there are anymore Brunetts in Russia? This relative's family moved to London, England. I have not found where he was born in Russia except his birth year. Are any of you familiar with that last name? Many of them went to Italy and added a I to the end of it. I would appreciate any help.
