He had better stayed home that day. Now if he is a war criminal, he should face trial, but I doubt he ever will.

Yeah if Pinochet didn't on account he was "too old and done for" this guy won't. Because we all know, war criminals had the same consideration for their victims :(

    Cheers...

I think it is never too late to answer for things in the past. He should absolutely stand charges.

Yeah if Simon Wiesenthal were alive today he'd be putting pressure on the Austrian Governement. The 'nazi-hunter' tracked and convicted more than 1100 Nazi War Criminals.

Regardless of what happens it's nice to see he was caught and was made public.

Put German national team shirt on him and place him in the middle of Turkish fans in the next game! That should do the trick....

In Austria? Was he visiting his former buddy Kurt Waldheim?

Why bother hes 95. Whats it going to achieve. Then again perhaps the fact that im not Jewish/Russian etc leads me to feel indifferent about the whole ideal of charging old men for war crimes commited 60 plus years ago.

Guess what, I'm neither Jewish nor Russian, or is this a prerequisite?
