I, as you can see am a new member of the forum. I enjoy most aspects of WW2. I like to read & watch documentaries on WW2. Being only 42 years old I cannot relate to the war but have an enthusiastic interest in it. My Father was in the REME in Palestine & helped to guard a POW camp for German interns. He also did alot of collecting of Wiermacht military vehicles of Rommels army. My most prize possesion is a cigarette case made out of a German rifle butt from a POW who befriended my Dad. My own personal interest in WW2 is mostly aviation, esp Battle of Britain & Bomber Command & would love to hear any comments by participants of either conflicts. "Never, after the field of human conflict has anybody wanted to know as much about World War II as I" Martyn
Welcome to the Forum, Martyn. Many threads on aviation. You may want to look for Mr. Campbell's posts on Bomber Command. I hope you enjoy yourself here.
Thank you for all your messages. I would like to receive mail from German pilots of fighters or bomber pilots or crew. I would like to hear your experiences. Guten tag!
I wish to hear from German pilots of fighters or crew of German bombers, Or any family experiences on the German side. It is nice to hear the opposite experience.
Welcome Martyn. I don't think we have any former members of the German military actively posting here anymore.
