Hello everyone, I'm a 19 years old romanian student, interested in military history (particulary on the 2 world wars).I am a romanian reenactor, aswell, reenacting the romanian army from the 1877 independece war to the second world war. Welcome! As for Romania's role in World War 2, it was limited even though Romania was a key ally of Germany in the war. Don't take it personal. My nation -Sweden- played a less important role. But I'm glad that a few thousand Swedish volounters fought alongside Finland against the hordes of Soviet Russia, and that our iron malm aided Germany's war effort. /Kommando

Hello Masklin. It's great to have someone from Romania on the formum. I wanted to go there last week. I was in a holiday in Varna, Bulgaria near the Romanian border and only and few hours drive from Constanta, but lack of time and being with the family did not allow me to go there. It's very frustating I wanted to get pictures of a German who is buried there.
If interested, my home town is Constanta.I know nothing about a German who's buried there, but if you want, you can give me additional info, and I'll go, make the pictures myself, and send them to you.Ok?
This would be absolutley great. The trouble is that I do not know the exact location of the grave. The German war grave commission has not mentionned him, so I believe his grave has not been officlally recorded . The man's name is Franz Fellerer. He is an Austrian. He was a cook and brought food to the troops and used a schnellboot on the Black sea to do so. He died because of a mine. I'm almost certain he is buried in constansta. I will try to localte his grave. There may be a Gemran cemetery there. Here is his story.
