    Hello all!

I'll first introduce myself: I'm Stefan and I'm from The Netherlands. I'm also probaly one of the younger members here, since I'm 13, and my birthday is in 2 months.

I actually liked WWII for a very long time, but never as much as I do now. I recently visited Liberty Park, which is a Dutch WWII museum, they had all kinds of vehicles and artillery from WWII, oh I enjoyed myself there so much. I also bought the game Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault just a week before that.

I've also been modeling Revell kit's, mostly from WWII. I'm recently building the LCVP Hiigins Boat from Airfix which is my first WWII model in a very long time. I also own some planes like the Spitfire and Hurricane, but I made these when I was young, and you've guessed it, I just painted them how I liked it and then added some stickers where they looked nice. I wish I could do that over.

The part of WWII I'm most interested in is probaly the Europe and Africa Military part, from both Allies and Axis. I know the basic things about all, but not very much details.

I'm also a very big LEGO fan, so I though, Hey, why not combine them? That's why I'm working on a Ohama Beach scene. I've planned a LCVP with Allies jumping out, a part of the beach with obstakles and some germands with a MG in a bunker. Any refernce about Ohama Beach (a bunker plan is what I'm really looking for) is very welcome.

I also have a question: Does anyone know and good WWII avatar's or pictures that could be made to an avatar? It could be anything from Tanks to airplanes to boats.

    Well, that was it. :)

welcome Stefan, Yes you are one of the youngest members here. Your English is Excellent for someone who uses it as a second language. If you browse in our photo galery you may find some avatar ideas. I even remember someone opening a thread about WWII vehicles made with lego. it's somewhere on the forum, don't ask where though.

Thank you, I get the response quite a few times. :)

I already searched for an avatar and I found this nice drawing of a P-38 Lightning.

And I'll search for that tread, what would be a good place to start? :p

Great P-38 in aluminium version (no cammo paint) . I will try to look for the lego thread. We have a search section on the forum , I will try the word Lego first .

Well on the site it says this it is their tenth yearly contest (or show if I have misread) so I thought there must have (and will be more of these) and I doubt one single person can make all these alone. There is got to be a lot of research , time, imagination etc..
