Hey guys, I not sure why, but ive become obssesed with ww2 its just so damm intresting.Anyways the main reason i joined was for your help, you see ive just published a ww2 graphic novel entitled liberation sea, and I have tried to make it as historicly accurate in regards to the artwork and some story elements. That being said feel free to point out any inaccuracies. Oh yeah im the artist not the writer. If you go to www.iladonline.com you can check some out, but whats on the site is very early in production( needs to be updated) Ive attached a few page samples of the finished product. This is 1 volume of a 7 volume story, it follows the story of private john whitworth, starts off in africa...tunisia ends in italy.Anyways just curious what some fellow ww2 buffs thought,oh yeah theres a few page samples on myspace too MySpace.com - I L A D Studios - 99 - Male - San Francisco and Truckee, California - www.myspace.com/iladcomics Oh yeah one more thing i really intrested in getting into reenactment can some one point me in the right direction?
Looks interesting, very best of luck with it. Try WWIIReenacting.co.uk - The home of WWII / WW2 Re-enacting in the UK - WW2 Reenacting, WW2 Re-enacting, WW2 Reenactment, WW2 Re-enactment forum and WW2 Reenacting Information to set you in the right direction.
Welcome! I hope you will keep us up to date on the progress of your novel. You may want to look at some of Tinpot Warriors posts, as he is also a WWII artist.
Sgt. Rock & The Unknown Soldier were my favorites as a kid. The graphics look pretty good. When do you expect it to hit comic shops?
