Nice Video. No with out making you upset can I ask a few questions? If you want to see them scroll down if not skip it.

What was the purpose of the video?
Do you think you will ever watch this again?
    Why did you make it.

I ask because to me it is kind of like a nick-knack, it looks pretty but does nothing. I am not trying to be mean just understand.

    Hi Tikilal,

To answer your questions, primarily the 'drive' behind such a vid is the concept of sharing. We share ideas in forums such as these and I chose to share some images. I am very lucky in that I have travelled extensively and in that time have observed some immaculate aircraft, from Auckland to Old Warden. Not everyone has these opportunities, but undoubtedly they share the same interest.

I will most definitely watch the vid again. It is even more significant to me as I have very tangible memories associated with each image. As photo albums in the traditional sense become less common and seas of photos waste away on hard drives, these vids serve as a form of album for me.

As for being pretty and doing nothing, well that's an old debate. Whilst I don't proclaim that the vid is a Monet, many things such as art serve no OBVIOUS, tangible purpose; yet they are very worthwhile endeavours. If someone derives enjoyment from watching sport, listening to music or viewing photos of classic aircraft, then there is actually a purpose there.

Anyway, I hope this clarifies some of your questions. As for getting upset, there's no chance of that. I welcome the feedback.

    All the best,

    Owen

    Owen,

Nicely done! From this Spitfire admirer, I truly appreciate to see the flying examples still around today almost 70 years later. A Spitfire or Hurricane always reminds me of Churchill's quotation, "Never was so much owed by so many to so few." The music was very fitting for the mood I felt you were creating: reverence, respect, and love of flight in the magnificent Spitfire.

    Jolly Good Show!:salute:

I cant think of a more noble reason.

This makes the whole thing make sense.

I was just curious. thanks for the answers, and I hope you have the memories to make a 1000 more of these videos.
