I think it is good that we all such differing opinions and are able to air our views, I personally haven't seen a ufo but my late uncle and some of his friends had not long been demobbed from the Seaforths and gone to work in a factory in the countryside in Renfewshire their shift ended at 6 in they had gone outside to stand in the lane to wait for the works mini bus to take them home, he said as the stood one of his friends spotted what he thought was an new fangled plane but as they looked at it getting closer it stopped and hovered my uncle told me the jaws just dropped open and as they said to each other "do you see that" it took off straight up. To his dying day he would readily recount what he saw that morning but would never talk about his service with the Seaforths especially of what they found in Germany.
Going back about nearly 38 years my brother in law worked for the State Police in Virginia as an analyst and at times went out in the cruisers with officers, He told me one evening a call came over to say a woman reported that something had landed in her back yard so they answered it, amongst themselves the usual ufo banter.
The area of Virginia they were in can be quite rural so it took a bit of time to find the house they parked at the front, and my brother in law followed the two officers over the lawn, the woman running down and told them it was still there and now was making a noise. They went round the side of the house expecting to find nothing but to their astonishment a hundred metres or so was this large round object with very low lights round the bottom sitting there, my brother in law at first thought it was a practical joke, one of the officers called it in, my brother in law to this day said he still can't believe what he and the officers saw he said it sat on the ground for 15 minutes or so then silently took off at an angle and was gone. When they checked the yard there was indentations of where it had been sitting which were photograph by the woman's son when he came home from work.

The thing with mine is that I believe that it was an interesting coincidence to see-that same like scenery with that couple holding hands and walking down the road. Heather and I have had likewise walks-but not through that kind of scenery. Where I used to live-is as flat as a pancake and full of ugly cactus plants and Mesquite Trees.

It is a strange thing when you feel in your heart that you have been here before.

I have a story from my early childhood that as far as i can not explain, i used to sleep over at my grandma's and i talk in my sleep, well one night i was talking in my sleep and my grandma got up and heard me speaking but could not understand what i was saying as she said i was talking total gibberish.

Well a few years later i had rented a video and took it around to my grandma's as we did not have a video player and it was a docco on WW2 on the BoB, well one German pilot was interviewed and it was in German, well my grandma had said that that was the language that i was talking in.

So i asked my dad about it and he confirmed that when i was a kid i spoke German in my sleep, but here is the kicker, i barely understand German, sure i know many word but not constructed sentences.

Also as through my life i can see battles played out on my bedroom walls and ceiling at night as if i was actually there fighting and i am always on the German side.

I honestly believe that i was a German in WW2.

That's the thing with reincarnation. I strongly believe that I had been a pilot-that I had a charmed life that I was extremely reluctant to let go of.

In this lifetime, I've had many obstacles to overcome. I'm still not done trying to overcome these obstacles, but there have been things in this life that have come easily-with no training in that particular area.

Paradox-like I said-I had been a pilot, but in this life, I'm afraid of heights and I have a troublesome sense of direction. Add in that I have impaired eyesight (20-80 uncorrected), and that cancelled out any hopes of military pilot training. My eyesight, and natural talent, did allow me to be a sniper (at the military shooting range I made fun of my shooting coach by drawing designs on targets with the bullets, so they overlooked the eyesight thing. They prefer snipers to have uncorrected eyesight).

As a young child, I preferred the company of my grandfather and his friends. They made more sense than six year olds. My mother told me that when I was three, she plunked me down in front of a piano, and I played chords (most three year olds will pummel piano keys). The only reason she didn't pursue music for me was that my father forbid musical instruments in the house. In my twenties I discovered I had a singing voice, and by my thirties I was the lead tenor in a large choir. Timing is of the utmost concern when you are singing a different key or even melody than your section or choir, and I never studied music-it just came-and there's no known musicians in my family tree.

So, reincarnation can be a really odd thing.

I don't really believe in it either, but I must admit I once had a funny experience. I was driving in a town in Holland. I had never been there before in my life. I immediately knew where to go to found the neigbourhood and the house where some of my ancestors grew up. I felt very comfortable, I could tell my wife where the shops were, knew about the short cuts etc.. it was as if I had spent my life there, except it was the first time. Then I felt like going to the cemetery to take pictures of Commonwealth War Graves, only to find myself facing the grave of an ancestor. They are probably coincidences, but they still make you wonder, even though I am a rationnal , sceptic person and need a scientific approach to believe something.

Skipper-did you look in your rear view mirror? You had a spirit with you, giving directions.

As I always say...life's a bitch, then you get reincarnated! :p
I believe in the paranormal, but not sure about this. Think I was put off by all the tossers in the '60s and '70s who always claimed to be Pharoahs/Queens/warriors etc in previous lives.
