Goddammit T.A! You got it, all right! Shot down by the germans during the battle of Narvik. I'm impressed... Next one to you.. RAM
This is not for the quiz but I thought I would put it here to see if anyone had ideas on why one engine is bigger than the other and why the props seem to overlap in front of the aircraft. I don't have any information other than what is posted with the picture. Looks like a Russian light bomber. I have never seen something like this before. I remember a photo, I think also from from China, of a "Douglas DC2 1/2" which was a damaged DC 3 repaired by fitting a complete DC 2 wing to it. Maybe something like that happened here, an SB-2 repaired by fitting something from a different plane to it, must be a b**** to fly though. My guess for JC's quiz is Breda 27, but I would also have said the other Italian was an Mc 202 and that does not seem to be the right answer.
I will guess on your aircraft JC, Curtiss Shrike but I can not make out the rear cockpit so I don't know if it is an A-8, A-10, or A-12.
Thats ok . I was meaning that we are back to posting pics of familiar aircraft again LOL . And yes it is a Macchi MC.202 Folgore

Correct JC, over to you. Did you notice the picture of my Coronado has 4 blades on the inboard engine and 3 blades on the outboards.
