I've always felt the blues were closely related to country. Country may have stole something, but seems to be able to give its' feelings to a wider audience. ..More folk feel it because it's a pop version of some serious blues... Every cowboy has written about a pet or girlfriend that has died unexpectedly...What to do with the corpse...hmmm...Let me know if this is not funny....We may have to create a corpse corner, where joking is allowed...Feel free to edit.

That incident inspired a song in 1897. That song and a hundred variations of it have been recorded by blues, country, jazz, soul, ska, punk, broadway, folk and rock artists ever since. It's in movie soundtracks. There are over 400 recorded versions, and nobody knows who wrote the original!

Not trying to be contentious here but really...Mozart is far superior...the pop artist of his time. True Beethoven is the master of emotion...but mozart...his combinations, patterns...a true master.
