Hi my friend-well said, and I agree with the vast majority of the posters so far in this thread-and Skipper too ;-)) I'll try to give you what I can as to why I don't like this guy (obama-lama) 1) He's so anti-2nd Amendment that when the topic comes up in front of him-his Canine teeth drip Rattlesnake Venom. 2) I have never not once heard what this guy has in mind for his "We Need Change," deal. The only exceptions I have heard, is that he fully intends to raise taxes on anyone considered rich. Some things this guy seems to have forgotten though after he raises their tax rates are: A) The rich create more jobs which in turn will pay those taxes that obama want's to force others to pay when it isn't necessary. B) When the rich business owners get taxed-the cost of those taxes is automatically passed on to the Consumer (you and I) by raising the prices for Food, Meds-etc etc. 3) obama-lama ding dong-is spreading a VERY false warning about our quest for more energy. For instance, he claims that if we start drilling in other areas-such as that tiny part of Alaska that companies want to drill in-that this process will take ten years before we see a drop of oil. That s utter nonsense-and the process will take only up to two years-just ask anyone in the oil-field business ;-)) 4) The man is not qualified to lead this Country with less time as an exec-than Palin has. 5) This guy is not well-versed on what the heck is going on here? For instance-I don't remember what the question that was asked of him was-but his reply to that question was so childish-which was: "I can't answer that question because it's beyond my pay grade." That scares the hell otu of me to hear something like that. Yet-when this same question was asked of McCain-he at least gave an answer-which was the correct answer. If someone can't answer a question immediately-the least that obama-lama should have said should have been something like: "I don't know the answer to that question but, I will find it out and will inform you." That reply would have been a better one-and it would have been enough for me to at least have an ounce of respet for him. 6) The guy is a former drug addict. We already had a Pothead in office for 8 long years-and we don't need another one. There are other things I don't like about this guy but don't have time to list them. Anyway, like someone else mentioned above-had Colin Powell ran for President-i'd have voted for him in a heartbeat. Samething can be said about Condoleeza Rice. As Jeff and others said-a persons skin color-is not a factor in our decision not to vote for this guy. Kruska, nothing here is meant to be against you and is more aimed at cross of iron ;-)) Take care my friend-Carl.
Well why, I would suggest that the Children being used in the manner in which they were, does fit in with in my comments to which you refer and here's, why. The children singing routine, evokes both the Third Reich and arguably a more recent and better example, the Democratic People's Republic of North Korea. The Video I used, is originally from a very nice comedy film, which has been heavily edited apparently by the propaganda agency of the Democratic People's Republic of North Korea and two other posters made comments connecting the singing activity in the case of Herr Oberst to Communism and Lippert directly to Kim Jong Il. There has been criticism of the Reverend Wright's Church over its relationship to Minister Farakhan. Reverend Wright remarks re Italians are well known, so that is how I have extrapolated Barak Obama's policy to Jews and Italians once in office. Also, I would suggest that the singing children affair fits, as a part of a whole of charactoristics one sees in Communism and Fascism. Also, I do not presume that the Reverend Wright was born on the dark side of the Moon and raised in a suspension tank by aliens and arrived on planet Earth aboard one of their spaceships a couple of weeks ago and that actually on the contrary he has a pretty good idea of how to play things. He could have gone for it was the American Jewish Community that put Jesus to death, rather than the American Italian Community that put Jesus to death but with him adding in Jesus was a blackman in to the bargain even the likes of the spineless politically correct media like The New York Times would find it too obvious to ignore, it was here we go again time for the resurection of the German Aryan Jesus murdered by the Jews, except this time around it would be the Black African American Jesus murdered by the Jews. Agreed and a good analysis on your part. I agree with you that doing that with the Children re the education budget was not right, but at the same time I would argue that the Obama singing thing was in a league of magnitude because of its fascistic and communistic aspects several orders above the bussing the children to protest against supposed education cuts. One is just pork barreling, which is something which regretable as it is, just ends up as a feature of any Western society, the Obama singing thing was an altogether much more nasty item because of its connection to Communism and Fascism and how they exploit Children. Thanx appreciated, NB I have put a link here to the Reverend Wright's relevant comments, just for anybody not familar with them. I honestly didn't mean to be malicious. In fact, I am quite happy that racism is declining, because i know it is bad. Unfortunately for me, I have not been able to overcome my deep-rooted hatred towards a number of races no matter how hard I try. But i will keep trying, just like i have been ever since my conversion to Christianity.

Ooooh, Skipp, this is the Free Fire Zone. Like the label says, " Any non-military topic is fair game here" after all! It could be worse, it could be the W***-I* section, there you'd be quite right to ask whether "Didn't you guys join this forum to discuss WWII? "
Can you name that "number of races" for our benefit, please? Wow, if this is what you call your conversion to Christianity then I'm converting to Kali Ma right now!
Well since you are an confessed racist I think Za was wondering how far you hatred goes and against who. Just as a reference.
Hello C. Evans, thank's a lot for some real good details and information. Most of what you forwarded is not known in Germany or at least not to me. I guess we are getting a bit of a one sided information policy here in Germany due to too much resents against Bush and Co. From what you forward I would conclude that Obama doesn't really have a clue about how and what to change. He seems to be quite simmilar to our present German Chancellor. The only thing that bothers me a bit, is that McCain also seems a bit clueless in regards to changing the present course - which I personally do not judge to be a good one either. Well lets see if one of them can actually come up with a concept that gives a benefit to the US and as such reflects positive onto the rest of the world. Regards yours Kruska
Hello Kirska. I'm sorry I missed this post or would have replied earlier. I obviously can not speak for everyone but I can give you my views. While It is obvious that the last 8 years our economy has been declining, I do not feel that it started the day Bush took office (and believe me when I say I am no fan of Bush). Problems like this actually take time before it becomes apparent it is a problem, and it was becoming apparent years ago. Many things have been stated about the financial mess in other threads so I won't get into it. One thing I have learned though through my short experiences in Politics. When we have a Republican controlled congress with a Democratic President, Congress will fight tooth and nail to not spend the money the president wants. Thus the surplus the US experienced under Clinton. When Bush took office everything was controlled by Republicans, so the Republican Congress let him spend the money as he wished, hence the deficite. Now that the Democrats are in control of Congress they fight him every chance they get. IIRC, once Nancy Pelosi became speaker of the house she made a statement along the line of I will block anything proposed by Republicans. While Bush has a horrible approval rating (19%) the democratic controlled Congress is even worse at around 14% You are correct in this. It IS supposed to be there job. Unfortunately, those in power will do anything to stay in power, and as such don't always follow the "will of the people". This works with both parties. As was evident in the recent financial bailout plan that was opposed by a significant majority of the population because of all the BS Pork and Golden Parachutes I would have to say that they both are forwarding their policies, however our own media has made up there mind in who they want for president. The Obomination is getting far more attention in the media then McCain, and when McCain is in the media, they are bashing him. I actually like McCain's plan to buy out the bad housing loans to help in this field. It sounds workable to me, though I don't remember the specifics off the top of my head. I can only speak for myself. When asked the other day in the Debate who he would appoint to Secretary Treasury, he didn't give a single name. He has done that with other issues. Personally I am afraid he is withholding this information because it is someone so radical that no one would vote for him. Of course that is speculation on my part and there is no proof of that. While serving in Congress McCain has had such a reputation for voting against Republican sponsored bills that he has many times been called "a Democrat in Republican clothes". Now that he is the Republican nomination all I hear is he is going to give us more years of the same things Bush gave us. I do not feel that is true in any way. While he has supported Bush in both our current wars, I feel it is because he truly doesn't want to turn his back on our fighting men and women. He has the greatest respect for them. On other issues he has his own opinions that are far from Bush's. IMPO, McCain is no fool, and will not follow in the footsteps of Bush, or he will be doomed to the same disgracefully level Bush is currently at. Hope that helps a little, but as I said, It's just how I feel.
