Does the US have a weapons delivery system that uses a 70mm missile? My searches have proven fruitless.

The company I work for manufactures brushes for cleaning out oil and natrual gas pipelines. We recently took and completed an order for the military to test a newly designed brush for cleaning out missile launchers. The boar size they gave us was 2.9 in. or 71.05 mm. What do we use that is that small? Of course unless I'm the CEO's best buddy, I'm not going to be told anything other than there used in missile launchers, and I'm sure even they dont know or care.

    So, anyone know?

But stingers don't use tubes do they? The Hydra rocket system on the Apache on the other hand is 70mm ;)

    Hello Stefan,

yes Stingers ATAS use tubes, but I was thinking about the Hydra system as well.
AFAIK those Huey Cobras and Huey Gunships in Vietnam used to launch tube 2.75 inch rockets too.

    Regards

Yeah, I believe that was the 68 launcher, Hydras predecessor.
