Good on Kai...But had they never heard of Russia? Did they think the bear would stand idly by.

Be interesting to see another one...after Russia entered war...Could have seen All of France and low countries coloured red. Maybe if USA hadnt obliged us all thats more the more likely scenario? Sorry dont want to do a what if...

Interesting that Poland and France would grow so much, giving them so much relative power over the rest of Europe.

but, with that said the part of the title "strange maps" reminded me of a program I watched on History International which centered around Herman Sörgels Atlantropa project. That was the one where he proposed "damming off" the Mediterranean from all sides, draining it down quite a distance, and not only gaining arable land along its coast, but huge electric production from the controlling dams. This would also allow the desert of Africa’s north to be irrigated and become a new "Eden". It was even "included" in the Star Trek: The Movie where Kirk is standing on a giant dam across the Straits of Gibraltar.
Here is a link to this daft plan:

How the Med. salt was to be addressed is never quite clear. I mean where would it go?

The first map is an interesting concept. Of course, Germany was split into four sectors rather than completely eliminated as we all know. I thought I saw one somewhere once similar, but Russia and Japan.

Luxembourg is there. Its always been a City-State and I think it prefers it that way.
