Hey Everyone, I am a 15 year-old kid that is in his sophomore year in high school. I know what many of you are thinking: that I am some kid who knows squat, that is just another person to plague the forums with inaccurate and unhelpful comments.

Well, I think, for a teenager, I know a substantial amount of history, especially in World War 2. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, sparked my interest at around age 11, and now I have read hundreds of books and played many more games on World War 2. I joined this forum because I am open to learning more and to have my views adjusted.

I think understanding the titanic conflict and the sacrifices made to allow for our world today is paramount, especially to prevent another such war.

Thanks, and excuse me, while I try to get Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway to work on this sad excuse of a computer,

Thanks for understanding, usmc. My grandparents were not vets, they were on the run from the Japanese either in China or Singapore. My grandmother witnessed the full atrocities of the Japanese, and all this as a ten-year-old child.

Welcome! This is a fine place and you will not be judged by your age. There are several 15 year old members (and a few younger, as I recall) and the only reason we know there age is because they have told us. Otherwise, this board is blind to age and all other physical characteristics. It's your willingness to think, contribute and learn that counts!

    Cheers!

    Welcome.

Great game and yes, the system requirements are steep. It will only run with the latest video drivers installed FYI.

    Welcome to the forum Soar!

My MIL is Chinese from Hong Kong but originally from Southern China. She and her family also had to endure the Japanese invasion/occupation. Unfortunately, several of her aunts/uncles were killed and their land seized when the Communists took over later.

You have a unique perspective of WW2 history from your Grandmother. I am sure you are an excellent student of history with your Grandmothers stories and observations as well as your reading too.

Have a great time on the board!

Everyone is welcome mate, as long as you don't start quoting history from the games you play, you will fit in fine.:)
