He 219 got a little weathered...

    Hello all,

    You may remember this model from a few months back...I recently added a little weathering to the panel lines, props, etc. Thought some of you might find the update interesting:

    I really like the details. The cammo sheme looks a bit to mathematically displayed though. I'd have expected less angles and smaller spots) Very nice detals though and the shawow effects are well painted

    I don't always go for historical accuracy with my models. There are so many that do and do it so much better than I – so I instead go for what is visually interesting and fun for me to do. And if I learn a little about the aircraft along the way, which I often do in preliminary research, so much the better.

    You are welcome cd. it's nice to see that some members gladly accept postive criticism. You wouldn't imagine how many times some get angry when I give them my comments. Once again I appreciate watching your model.

    Believe it or not, plain ol' spray cans! I can't make myself pony up for those nice airbrush machines! :D Thanks for looking and for the nice compliments!

    And Skipper look out for my new model I'll be posting in a few minutes...another german war machine!

    Unusual scheme I've never seen before ,Espicially well done for spray cans!
