The Order of the Red Banner might be awarded to this or that army, it's not a generic title. Other Orders that could be awarded to units included the Order of Kutuzov, Suvorov, Alexandre Nevsky, etc. These awards were more visible post war in less hectic occasions. You might read, for instance, of full titles like; "2nd Schock Army, Order of the Red Banner, Order of Kutuzov".
