Just heard about this a little while ago in a document....I thought interesting little piece of info.... The World; Hussein and bin Laden: How Opposites Attract - New York Times "Indeed, after Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990, Mr. bin Laden, fresh from the war against Soviet invaders of Afghanistan, came calling on Prince Sultan, Saudi Arabia's defense minister. According to an oft-told story in official Saudi circles, Mr. bin Laden said Saudi Arabia didn't need a foreign infidel army to defeat Iraq; he and his followers could do it. ''There are no caves in Kuwait,'' Prince Sultan then said. ''What will you do when he lobs missiles at you with chemical and biological weapons?'' Mr. bin Laden replied, ''We will fight him with faith.''
This actually was an oft discussed on the news topic leading up to the US invasion of Iraq. Bin Laden clearly lacked a grasp on reality. Here's a man who didn't conceptualize that even with the loyalty of his followers and his nine figure income, that he would spend out his days hiding in a mud hut, afraid for even turning on a ten dollar radio for fear of being found out, hunted down, and killed. The 9/11 attacks were actually very daring, like the Pearl Harbor raid, but both events incited the American people into a God's wrath type reprisal. The election of Barack Hussien Obama might draw Bin Laden out of hiding, thinking all has been forgiven, but it would be a huge mistake on his part. Of course, if Bin Laden suddenly feels emboldened and raises his ugly mug, Obama would be forced into an action he would prefer to avoid.
