Not sure, but I will withdraw it to maintain the amusement. I liked that movie.

I am not saying it was a bad movie, it was a great movie, seems for a while we had some numbskulls that were rather immersed in the whole SPR / CoD/ MoH/ video game sniper put a silencer on anything that you can't attach a sticky bomb to, girls have cooties fan boy culture.

The only part of SPR that I liked was when the guy said, "But that can't be! My brothers are still in grammer school!"

Nathan Filion elevates anything he is attached to. A natuarally funny and charismatic Canadian. "Does that mean my brothers are okay?"

Released in 1977. Perhaps I went a little too far.

Right you are Richard71. James Caan played the company 1st sergeant who was watching out for the CO. In that scene Caan emptied the young officer's bourbon, then promised that the young captain that he'd survive the battle.

That role was first offered to Steve McQueen. He turned it down because he wanted top billing and didn't want to share the spotlight with other big name actors in an ensemble cast. I think that James Caan did a great job anyway.

The Land That Time Forgot? Surely you jest.

Great. James Caan took a good part and the film was well cast.

If I set the next quote, here it is:

    'Here she comes,the old tiddy-oggy'

His captain was played by Nicholas Campbell, by the way. Campbell is best known for his role in the long running tv series "Davinci's Inquest" as a Vancouver coroner.
