I have returned. The Bar Exam is finished, for good or ill, and now I look forward to getting back into the thick of things here (and keeping y'all up to date as our family quest for a labradoodle heats up!).

    Cheers!

I was wondering how that Labradoodle deal was working out, and welcome back hope you passed the bar and won't have to retake the stinker. I have heard (second hand) that for some reason it seems to get tougher if you don't make it on the first try.

Don't know if that is true or not, mayhaps it is anticipation and fear of a second failure that just makes it seem so. At any rate, welcome back to the "fold"!

Welcome back and good luck with the exam, well the marking of it, at least you don't have to "take meals" as per the UK system. My barrister chum Martin found that the hardest and most demoralising part.

    Thanks all!

Umm Richard . . . you really could not claim copyright ownership in that line but if you use it in commerce we might be able to get you a trademark . . . . ;)

As to why it gets tougher the second time, I hope I never find out. Of course, this was actually my second exam, but I passed Massachusetts so long ago that it felt like the first time.

Well, I got my results today, and I have passed the exam! That is a great weight lifted off of my shoulders; I assure you! I shall celebrate by going to Fantasy of Flight later this week and checking out some vintage WWII aircraft . . . . pictures to follow!

I take back all of my postings in which I stated how much I loathed most lawyers ;-)) The correction stands at a grand total of two Lawyers I like and have respect for. One of them was my Cousin who recently passed away-the other is David ;-))
