Hi, my name's Alex, I'm from Southern California. You can call me Alex or Switch, I guess. I got my member name because I Firefox (the browser) used to be known as FX when it first came out. So I invented a silly username called SwitchFX as in Switch to FX/Firefox. I just recently turned 35, and I believe next year is the year where I'm allowed to start counting the years back. :lol: I've been interested in war pretty much since I was a little kid. My father, uncles, grand fathers, etc. they all served in the military; not US. My interest mainly goes to the European theater and that's because there's so much to learn about it. When I think about the Pacific theater I imagine a very hot climate and I don't like hot much. I know this sounds really corny but it's just a preference I guess. As far as hobbies go, I'm very much interested in guns, aviation, alcohol (not really a hobby, but a love?), cars, music, I also do server and forum administration. I also do freelance graphic work for money. I'm interested in any time period of the war. I really love digging into the unknown parts of the war and reading up on the tidbits. I always say the best parts are the ones where others haven't picked at. Glad to have found such an awesome site, I've been browsing for the last few days and I figured I'd make use of the account I made here. -Alex -Alex

the button with the salute in lower right corner of a post is the correct key. I'm not sure if you have to post a certain number before posting or not. Maybe a mod can enlighten us....
