'How can the defeat of Nazi Germany in the Second World War best be explained?' This is my topic question for a project at college. I will be investigating areas such as: Economy Germany's Allies Leadership Supply lines Bombing Key Battles (Dunkirk, D-Day and Stalingrad) Russia I am looking for historians viewpoints on why Germany lost, primary and secondary sources, memoirs for instance and general information on these issues. I am kind of stumped in terms of reading materials. I would be highly gratefull if anyone could help.
We have several threads that discuss that very topic. Search through our forums and you will see them.
