Hello all - I am honored to be in this forum. Thank you to all of those that have served and are still serving.

I found this site doing a search for a critical link to how the Medical Attachments was listed as an AUS component. You folks here have provided that link. For that I am forever grateful.

Dad was a SGT with the 58th Post (Portable) Surgical Hospital. He spent most of his time in Indo-China-Burma and worked alongside Merrill's Marauders.

Unfortunately I never recorded him telling stories of the war. It was only many conversations as a young man sitting on the floor asking and listening to his father tell stories of the war. Those memories I will cherish.

    Thanks for listening.

    Nick

Hi, Nick. Welcome to the forum. I am also a soldier's son who didn't think to record any of my father's thoughts and now it is too late. I ahve recently found enough information to make me wish I had more, but the folks here are more than willing to help in any way they can. I think you'll enjoy your time here. Take the time to explore, there's plenty to see.
