so, alot of us play video games, Xbox, Xbox 360, PS2 and we all play games from time to time....i am into all the ww2 games. Call of Duty 2, Medal of honor frontline, and much more....i question the authentacy of these games and was wondering how accurate are they? i know the omaha beaches look nothing like the real thing......
I am not too sure about the authenticity of the scenery, but i know that out of all the WW2 PC games i have played, Day of Defeat is the best as far the weapons go. Graphically they are INSANE, they all hold the exacte some ammount of ammo the real ones did, and they re-load the same also, serial numbers are also viewable on some of them. Personaly it is my favorite mp/ww2 game. Call of Duty is really good too. I have yet to play the 2nd one though.
Call of Duty 2 is a heart pounder, plenty of fun! I was impressesd with detail and authenticity. I beat level "1", I'll let my nephews take it from there.
I would have to say the mod Forgotten Hope for Battlefield 1942 would have the largest range of tanks, plains, ships and guns for a first person shooter. check the range http://forgottenhope.bf1942files.com/main.php?module=vehicles&country=1&type=1&lang=english they even have the Typ 166 Schwimmwagen. And even some from finland for Kai http://forgottenhope.bf1942files.com/main.php?module=vehicles&country=8&type=1&lang=english
Yeah FH is very good. One of the best if not the best MOD out therer. Can't wait for FH2 to come out for BF2. That will be amazing
Call of Duty is probably the best game i have played. Very realistic, and most if not all of the levels are true battle grounds in ww2.
I am a big WW2 gaming fan and the best I have played has to be the GFM (German Front Mod) for Call of Duty. It is an improved COD and with a touch of DODS with classes including a medic - a player can only be healed by a medic rather than finding First Aid boxes lying around as in other games. Just hope they do something similar for COD2 as that will be special.
