    Thanks Gordon, I visited the museum shortly after it opened in 2000 while in New Orleans on business. I had wondered how it had fared with the flood waters and the lawlessness.

    Thanks for posting that. I don't know about anyone else but I was in knots when I knew that the D-Day museum was about to be struck and the following days when thier website was down. Its's good to know that things could have been worse and that they have reopened which means I still have the chance to visit.
