Hi Sue, I can help you on some stuff-which will be the German stuff.

The Medal with the full length black-white-red-white-black ribbon is a 1939 Iron Cross 2nd claqss and tese now normqlly go for about $80 to $135.

The Black Wound Badge is about $35-$40.

The Brest or cap eagle will go for around $40.

The flag around $150-$200 tops. As for the other things--I don't know what they will go for?

    Hope this helps?

    Nice Stuff,

Did someone in your family get these in the war or was it collected?

Glad to help ma'am. Also, if you wish to sell them at a later date? I know quite a few collectors who might be interested in these items. I'd bid for the flag, EKII and Black Wound Badge, but im low on money this month as im getting a few items in including original photos and such. However, next month is a different story on my available funds ;-))

    Take care--Carl.

The cloth badge with the German Eagle and RBD Nurnberg is, I believe, Nurnberg District Railways.

ebay is an obvious choice. Also I enjoy a site called GunBroker. It's not all firearms. Just select the collectables area. They charge a fee once it sells but can also have your items apprased for you for another small fee.

Just don't sell anything with a swastika on it or you'll get banned!

To be honest I only buy, I never sell on ebay. But still try giving gunbroker a look. Smaller community, but a good group of people.

Hi Sue, providing someone else has not yet asked about them, i'd be interested in the Iron Cross and the Black Wound Badge. If you can? please let me know. If they are already asked for? please let me know that too. I will pay as honest of a collector price as I can-which will be within the price range I posted above.

    Take care--Carl.

If nobody is interested in the flag? I might be interested in that as well, but would have to make slightly later arrangements on that one. ;-))

    Thank's Sue :)

Hi Sue, my computer is acting up and I can't get your links to load up for me. Im assuming that you have an asking price listed for these items?

If they don't sell relatively soon? or if your willing to accept an offer from me here by PM? just let me know as im most interested in the Iron Cross and Black Wound Badge, and the Flag slightly later. Reason because im only working part time these days thanks to the economy, and I could easily get the Iron Cross and Bl Wound Badge, but the Flag I'd have to wait at least a month on. All of this is providing that nobody else here is interested in them before I chimed in. Also, if the flag isn't spoken for yet? I know a guy here who badly wants one. Your flag has tie down straps on it for tying down to hoods or rears of vehicles which was also used for identification so that their own side does not bomb them by accident.

Anyway, if you could let me know as to the above? ill gladly give you an offer first for the IC and the BWB.

    Take care and best regards--Carl.

    Carl my friend,

Are you sure that the 'flag' isn't just a simple podium banner or window dressing? It has three 'ties' on the top clearly to be suspended to a dowel or something similar. The swastika isn't centered which also leads me to this conclusion.

Most vehicle ID flags I have seen are square in shape and have a centered swastika. Also grommets/eyelets for reinforcement in the corners.

    Just a thought......

Hi Agfa, it might be a podium banner but, these too have been used as vehicle ID flags. I have a well-known early Russian Campaign Press photo showing a flag exactly like the one Sue posted here-being used as a vehicle ID flag. It's on something Armored-im not to keen on all their armored vehicles so i can't cite what type of vehicle it is? However, I do believe that the vehicle i speak about-might be from captured French vehicle stocks ;-))

I have only one flag-which is a podium banner. Mine has weights sewn into the bottom of the banner ;-)) This particular banner i own, was a very early made banner-circa either 1923 or 1925? The date stamped on it is too faint to make out the last number of the year stamped on it but I can make out that it wa indeed a 192-something made banner.

I forgot to mention that that press photo is an AP press photo taken in winter of 41 as the Germans were still trying to make their way to Moscow. This photo has been printed in numerous books as well.
