Assmann really made great quality pins. The one I have from them is the Luftwaffe officer wings in silver , the Marking is "A". I like you pin a lot.
Great PAB Fischer. Now you also know why I like Assmann badges too ;-)) One i have is a real beaut and would knock not only yours socks off, but the socks of everyone here. I have a mint, early war silver nickel made Pilots badge. I have never seen one nicer than mine. Mine has the stylized "A" as does SKippers badge. My badge has the perfect age-toning to some of its details-which to me really makes this a piece that easily stands out. In case anyone is wondering? nope, this badge will never leave my collection even though I am no longer collecting LW and will be trying to trade or sell my Rudolf Karnath (R.K.) made Ground Combat Badge. This one too is a beaut as well as my Luft Flak Arty badge is. I like those badges too-so gimme first crack at it over Stewy ) Just kidding. Or am I? )
