Just heard a few hours ago that Actor, Dancer-Patrick Swayze had passed away thanks to a form of Cancer. :-( For those who know of him), he was pretty good in movies like: Red Dawn, Road House, Next of Kin and Dirty Dancing. Rest in Peace Pat. :mourn: I sure hate to see people pass away at such youngish ages. Another Texan gone.
I heard that on the way to pick up my son this morning,it is sad,but a battle too far carl, hard to win against cancer..
R.I.P Mr Swayze Thanks for the great memories.... Ghost: Classic scene with Demi around the potters wheel... good show. Jem
I really admired his attitude toward his cancer...he was living one day at a time and chasing life. That's a good thing to remember since life is a gift each day. RIP Patrick!
I too enjoyed his movies, Ghost most of all. Roadhouse was an ok flick as well, but somehow I just couldn't quite accept the Dirty Dancing guy kicking butt in a bar. Don't ask me why. His battle with cancer was a hero's work, and to take on and demand to continue to work until he couldn't do so was also inspirational. Rest in Peace Patrick, you will be missed by those who never even knew you.
American posters wouldnt no him but the tv chef keith floyd died also,he was the only tv cook ever of all time who was any good, very fond of his drink. Also irish boxing hope and olympic bronze medelest Darren Sutherland was found dead this morning in london, suspicious circumstances have been ruled out, very sad.He was 27.
RIP Patrick , Only movies I ever watched him perform in was Red Dawn and The Outsiders , Both movies I realy like... My uncle is suffering from cancer so this hits home a little more..I know what his family went through and I liked that even though his cancer was well developed his still fought and lived his life...
Same disease that took my father, so I really hate it. Not a real big Swayze fan, but a shame nonetheless.
Dont know why but I have always confused him and Kurt Russell R.I.P. Pat, you will be missed. What a year for celebrities...
Saw a short interview he gave and he loved are rude jokes and London for him was the No.1 capital of the world. A true gent.
I remember the first time I saw him on the TV-which was in a 1981 episode of M*A*S*H-as a dying soldier. Im glad though, that he got to work with some great actors like: Ben Johnson, Harry Dean Stanton for example. I too lost my Dad and a Brother-to Cancer. I wish that the lawmakers here would spend more energy and money on finding a cure for Cancer-instead of the infighting now going on.
