    Hello all,

I was trying to read my field m1943's label, the one in the hip pocket.
But it is faded quite a bit.
Is there a site where i can find the manufacturers? I have something what looks like "& SONS"

can try to make a picture but its dark here and a cameraflash will be to bright..

    thanks

    Hi Robby...

I've had a little bit of luck with manufacturers of M-1943 field jackets but honestly, there's not much out there in the way of information. I work at a Good Samaritan near Ft Wood army base and we get quite a bit of old military goods through as donations from people in the area -- field jackets and caps, WWII and Vietnam-era field lockers, medals, and such, and I sell them on the internet. Anyway, is it possible to take a picture of the tag? Can you make out the order number?

Wow, that is rough :). Honestly, the only word I can make out is what looks to be "JACOB". I messed with the photo in an editor too, and couldn't make any more out...

Sorry! Do you mind me asking why you'd like to know the manufacturer so badly?
