In Feb 1936 Lawrence Wackett led a team of Australians on a fact finding mission to find a replacement for the Hawker Demon, reporting their findings in July '36. Hence, the Wirraway was built, after talks with North American.
Anybody, know any more details please?
How they, travelled - by sea, or aircraft e.g. flying boat.
What countries they visited, e.g. when were they in Britain.

A little yes thanks, but seen that before - though I think it funny that having visited Nazi Germany - they may have taken an interest in the Stuka - undertaking trials at Rechlin at the time!

Interesting yes, but not in relation to the fact finding mission.
I have found out elsewhere, that one of the two others in the team was William Murphy.
Still, if no one knows where they went and when, if I want to do an ATL I can be as creative as I want to be!!
