I bought this British bag years ago and recently when going through some things it turned up and I never did figure out what it was. Its dated 1943 M.H. company Light II followed by an arrow. I was originally using this as a camera bag because on the outside is some nice pockets and a pocket on the inside? Anyway is it a general purpose bag or a sight holder? Or something else? I know someone may have an answer for me. Thanks

Thank you sir. I knew somebody out there could help. So, the pockets on the side used for holding cleaning and repair kits? Thanks for the help.

Really just a WAG on my part here, but could those pockets be for spare filter cannisters to be used when/if the originals were clogged or filled up with "junk"?

Your guess is as good as mine Clint. I am headed to a military show this weekend if this cursed weather will lift to provide a safe drive there. I hope to find one there at the show and pick up for the collection. I have also been going through some British army reference books for collectors just need to find the best one. Like the G.I. books that came out for American army equipment. Thanks for the help pal.
