Hi gang! I'm a newbie to this site, pretty obvious I know. Thought I'd introduce myself to you all. I'm Aaron, going to the University of Colorado and studying American History. I am a WWII fanatic and plan to get my Masters and Ph.D. in WWII studies. I look forward to meeting you members and sharing knowledge about WWII. Thanks! Aaron
Welcome aboard Aaron, we have a couple of other folks from Colorado here already. Dive right in and have a good time!
Welcome Aaron. Plenty of information around and friendly people willing to share. Feel free to chime in and post often.
Welcome. I have my MA from Purdue, '04. You might find the sites in my sig handy in your studies, we focus on primary source documents.
Welcome Aaron, WWII is such an enormous topic. What area would you like to specialize in? Also, some advice. If you are a top-notch undergrad student with a high GPA, try to apply for a Ph.D, and skip the Masters. MA students pay the same high tuition, and have to take the same courses as Ph.D students, but do not get many of the benifits, such as teaching assistent positions. Trust me on this one. Greg C.
Hi Aaron, pleased to meet you. I'm in Boulder county too. I have no history degree, but I'm writing a book about my grandfather's unit.
I've always been fascinated with the War in Western and Eastern Europe, especially Air Power. But having a Grandfather in the Pacific Theater and seeing how little is published and known about the Pacific fight, I'm leaning towards studying the Pacific. I got a few years until Graduate school, so I have time.
